２０１１年３月１１日、午後２時４６分頃、宮城県牡鹿半島の東南東沖130kmの海底を震源として発生した東北
地方太平洋沖地震は、日本における観測史上最大の規模、マグニチュード９を記録した。
人的被害は１２月２日現在、死者は１５，８４０人、重軽傷者は５，９５１人、行方不明者は３，５４６人と発表さ
れている。しかし、避難所生活中になくなっられた方の人数は入っていない。
